E-XCO. Then the E-XCE.

A proposed concept to professionalise E-MTB competition through clear race formats, proposed categories and professional bike inspections.

Competition 01

E-XCO

E-Cross Country

The main race: riders compete by proposed category on a purpose-built E-MTB circuit that tests skill, power management and consistency.

  • Category-based starts
  • Full inspection for ELITE; 25 km/h assistance cut-off checks for SL, OPEN and OPEN PLUS
  • Final race duration and laps to be confirmed
Competition 02

E-XCE

E-Cross Country Eliminator

A knockout race after the E-XCO. The top 8 E-XCO finishers race head-to-head on a dedicated short course.

  • Top 8 E-XCO finishers qualify
  • Two heats of four, starting together; each heat designed to last no more than 1 minute
  • Top 2 from each heat advance to a 4-rider final
Both competitions are proposed and subject to confirmation after course testing. See how riders progress

Practice. Inspection. Race.

A CORC-organised two-day E-MTB concept at Mt Stromlo: prepare and inspect on Day 1, then race the E-XCO and the E-XCE on Day 2. Final event details are still to be confirmed.

A weekend for riders and brands.
